The Alignment of the 5th Dimension

After taking a break from blogging for a while to tackle some intense spiritual encounters, I’m happy to say I’m feeling grounded again. The shift is definitely upon us and I have been feeling the gusts of its mighty wind for a few adventurous weeks. While reveling in the bliss of unconditional love and synchronicities, I have also had to do battle with the depths of inner demons and nasty energetic attachments. It is from this incredible journey that I am brought back to home to share some of my lessons with any who are ready to learn.

The alignment statement:

Over a year ago my partner and I (we recently got engaged!) began practicing with various forms of breath work while incorporating intentional statements, affirmations and gemstone meditation. We had received a rather large piece of malachite from a couple of close friends a few years back as a birthday gift and had always felt very soothed by its energies. On a whim, I looked into affirmation statements for malachite and discovered that it was helpful in aligning one’s will with the will of the divine. I created an affirmation statement for follow my meditative practice using a slow, counted breath (counting to 10 during inhalation, hold for 10, release on exhale for 10 and repeat). The affirmation I used was loosely as follows: ” My will is aligned with the will of the divine and I proceed through life with confidence and higher purpose.” After doing the meditation only a few times, I started to more clearly hear my guides who proceeded to lead me through a series of informal (and sometimes very formal) exercises, classes and lessons.

I learned there was a serious connection to this alignment statement that many of my other mediation partners had not yet tapped into. I shared my experience with my partner who had yet to share in the heightened awareness I was now experiencing. After a few frustrating sessions and a moment at which he felt like giving up, he surrendered. He said, “Show me! If there is a higher purpose out there and I am a piece of this mystical puzzle then show me! I align my will with that of the divine creator and I shall carry out the will of the divine!” Shortly thereafter, he too began to have higher sense perceptions that were almost sharper than mine and I was a trained practitioner.

The 5th Dimension:

The 5th dimension is the dimension in which we align ourselves with our higher dimensional self and the will of the divine. Our guides are there to help us in our journeys. They have been there forever and they want to help us. However, since they are vehicles of the divine, they  cannot interfere with free will. You have to actively seek their assistance. The more you act in line with the requests of the divine or your guides and you continue to make your alignment statement, the more powerful the results.

Free will vs. Divine will is the ultimate battle between good and evil, light and dark. If we choose actions that are out of alignment with the divine (the master plan, god’s will or the greater good) we allow evil (demons, entities, or the destructive force) room to play. Once you align yourself, you are actively stating to the universe that you are committing yourself to working for the whole- whatever it takes. Now you don’t always have to act in accordance with the whole, but you must find a balance in it. 51% of the time to be exact.

Get Ready:

You will never become less powerful… well, unless your karma is out of balance. The flood of higher sense perceptions can be uncomfortable to say the least. Do some preliminary house cleaning first. What do you surround yourself with? Images, books, music and art that emit destructive frequencies will only bring more disharmony into your home. Do you have some personal work or shadow integration to do? Do you think your life is a wreck or do you have obstacle after obstacle jumping in the way of your goals? You may have some unhealthy energetic attachments drawing these experiences towards you. It may be helpful to do some service to others, some gifting or positive thought affirmations before aligning yourself. Once you align yourself the game is on. You are an instrument of the divine and anything that needs clearing will be knocking at your door and sometimes at very inconvenient times. Cultivate a lifestyle that promotes healing and balance before jumping into this. Find an energy therapist to help guide you through your process so you don’t spin out into a healing crisis. Stress is an illusion and worry is a virus best to be avoided.

What really is stress? Stress is what happens to us when we are faced with an obstacle we do not feel we have the ability to overcome. Knowing that we create our own reality, it seems rather silly that we would create any situation which we could not overcome. There’s no point to that. What we’ve actually done is probably default manifested- in which we’ve checked out and denied responsibility for an action and chosen not to participate in the creation and let others do it for us- OR we’ve succumbed to the viral infection of worry.

Worry is a virus. Worry occurs when our kidneys are out of balance or we’ve contracted the virus from others around us. The easiest way to contract worry is from our parents, family or closest friends. If you are surrounded by people who constantly worry- you probably will to. Now the way worry attacks your system is by attaching itself as an energetic thought pattern. You have the first thought that provokes the question of “what if…” Then your mind races with horrifying, life-crumbling, stress-inducing scenarios. This is usually quickly followed by equally damaging feelings of self-doubt and low self-esteem. “I can’t…” Then, you have the urge to either stuff it down with self-medicating behavior such as addictions, food, and destructive activities or you act as a carrier and spread the dis-ease to another close to you. You call your buddy, your mom, your grandparents, your partner and unload. Because of their connection to you they experience empathy for your situation and identify with your frustration. Unless the person is acting from a higher self and is able to guide you away from the patterns of worry, they begin to worry for you. Now, you have a partner in crime. Manifestation is always more powerful in numbers and you have solicited more focus in the directions that you ultimately need to avoid.

Wherever your mind is, whatever your focus is on and how detailed your focus becomes is a direct representation of what you are creating in your life. If your focus is on not having enough money and bills pouring in from the mail, you’ll only get more of them. If your focus is on how out of shape you feel and how tight your pants are, they will only feel tighter and you will only feel more out of shape. If you are worried about a doctor’s diagnosis turning out positive- it more than likely will. This is why we say, focus on what you truly want and have that you love, not what you don’t want.

I see a lot of my friends and family falling into bad habits, unfortunate situations and physical illness all because of worry. Worry stresses the body and the organs because the focus is no longer on the health and wellness of the person. The focus is in worry and the mind is running wild with undesirable outcomes. When I receive unfortunate news, I may experience a moment of shock, but ultimately my higher self steps in and says, “So what? We can handle this. Just see how you want this situation to play out and be thankful of the lesson that the possibilities are presenting to you.” Ah, yes. Exactly.

It can be that easy, but it takes a long time to fully get rid of the worry virus once it has been implanted. Perseverance will eventually reset the patterns and create new, healthier patterns which are worry-free. Write yourself affirmations- I do all the time. When you catch yourself caught in the web of worry- turn your thoughts to the opposite side of the spectrum and shed some light.

Waking up is hard to do!

Many of us are familiar with all the buzz around 2012, some calling it a shift, an end time, a new age, a new direction, the coming of the golden age, the age of aquarius, the awakening… It’s tough to get a grip on what it all means and not get lost in all the conspiracies, opinions and lore. The fact that all these opinions exist is actually just another indicator to what is actually happening. For if the question exists, then so does the answer. They are mutually dependent on one another.

More and more people are looking around at what exists in the world and asking what it all means. This is the first sign of waking up. We are a species that has been dreadfully drowned by misinformation and apathy. As we gain awareness to truth, changes occur within us that are difficult to deal with at times.

We are creators. Each one of us possess the responsibility to create our own experience of the universe. When we are un-aware of this, we create in what I call default mode. Whatever we worry about, stress about, put focus on (and our intentions behind it) manifest before us in seemingly random ways that never quite provide us with enough synchronicity to raise our awareness and just enough satisfaction on the surface that it reinforces the default way of being. Unknowingly, we have been asleep our entire lives. Enough! It is time to wake up!

You may hear a lot of people talking about levels of consciousness, raising your level of consciousness or reaching new states (or altered states) of consciousness. Some people associate these terms with pot smoking festival kids and yoga class. It’s much more than that. Think about what it means to be conscious. It means to be AWAKE! As we raise our consciousness, we are actually just increasing our awareness of what is around us and waking up to information that has been hidden because parts of us were still asleep.

Everyone knows the feeling when a foot goes numb from sitting awkwardly. It feels like it’s not there until it tingles and twitches as it wakes up. Well, think about that for parts of you that you didn’t realize were there. If you were born with a numb, invisible foot and then one day it started to wake up, what would you do? You’d be thrilled! Suddenly walking is made so much easier! As parts of you begin to wake up, it’ll be awkward and tingly and a little strange. Once you move past the discomfort, BAM- living- so much easier!

One of the biggest factors in how comfortable the awakening process will be is how much compassion you have for others. If you are self-serving and self-centered, you are playing on the opposite side of the team. Self-service does not sustain life and whatever does not sustain life, the universe eventually destroys.

If you are compassionate towards others and focus less on what you want and desire for yourself and put more focus into helping others or sharing with others, you will see a change. The universe provides the playing field for whatever we create. There is a collective consciousness that we are all connected to but to most it is still far from their current level of consciousness. Time is speeding up and more and more people are showing subtle signs of waking up. Take a moment and think about where your focus has been and where has the focus been for others around you?

It may seem like big companies are getting whatever they want and those that care for the masses are left with nothing, but that’s a perception still within the old framework. We have been taught that money, jobs, big families, cars, clothes… all these THINGS are to be valued and that status and knowledge can be attained with the right upbringing and combination of these things. It’s all backwards. Knowledge is completely free and universal. The collective consciousness provides information about anything you want or need to know- anything. What we’ve lost by focusing on these things is community and abundance- limitless abundance. It exists in the world today, right now, but it’s in the wrong hands because our cookie jar was raided while we were sleeping.

The alarm is going off- it’s time to stop hitting the snooze button and start waking up!

  • Find a guide or energy healer. 

Letting go of old habits, behaviors and patterns can be uncomfortable and challenging. However, the short period of discomfort is relieved by endless joy, abundance, love and knowledge. It is worth it. Finding guidance from a healer is well worth it.

  • Meditate with intention

What is it that you want to create in the world? Get a group together to find like ideas and meditate with intention for even just a few minutes once or twice a week. Meditate on your own each morning or evening and visualize future places, events, ways of being. 

  • Give gifts and grattitude

Give without expecting anything in return. Start a grattitude journal and make a list of all the things your are grateful for each day or each week. Pause when in nature to thank the Earth for providing this moment. Thank the bees or butterflies for their polinating dance as they fly by you. Thank the sun for warming your face. 

  • Breath work!

  • Play

Life is fun. Find opportunities to tap into that inner child. Laughter is one of the best ways to raise our frequencies and when we do it in groups, it has immense power.

  • Talk to those around you

I often find that once people start thinking differently about their lives, they often think that those around them will judge them. Don’t worry. Once you move towards full consciousness, others around you will either follow your lead or slowly pull away. Relationships that are not meant to be or are not serving a greater purpose may change. Allow these fluctuations to occur. Also allow new relationships to blossom. You will find that the universe will place just the right people in your path at just the right time.

I’m more excited now for the future than I have ever been. I receive my information from guides that I have gotten to know over the years as well as books and classes. I find that the closer I get to full consciousness, others around me go through changes as well. I know it can be difficult and unsettling- it’s hard to see the world you once knew become something so different. The more we reach out and share this information, the easier it will become for all of us.

Energy you attract… it’s a part of you

The law of attraction is pretty ridiculous. It’s true, of course. However, it seems to be the most difficult universal law for many to truly understand. When faced with any situation in which you are dealing with a person that perhaps irks you, look inside yourself. There is often an undeniable similarity somewhere in the way that person is behaving to an attribute of yourself that you are perhaps unconsciously portraying. Now, I don’t mean that someone who finds themselves on the other end of a violent relationship is necessarily violent themselves, but what they are doing is putting out a specific frequency. That frequency may be one of the victim, the wounded child, the repressed feminine, the femme fatale, or the Debbie Downer. These fragmented aspects of ourselves can be great teachers if we allow them to be. Left to run amuck, these personifications can be detrimental not only to ourselves, but to everyone around us. And the more we identify with these aspects, the more we attract circumstances which make these the most appropriate We all have met these people inside of ourselves at one time or another, but if serious healing is needed and we neglect to take notice of the lessons the universe is presenting to us in what now becoming a much faster, louder and indisputable experience, sometimes a little outside intervention is helpful and even necessary.

Pride is a bitch. It is a frequency, a state of consciousness that is still very much grounded in force. It will never conquer or serve any of us to our highest potential, and by definition of force, there will always be opposition. It can be difficult to accept outside intervention at times, but in the end, people who have wrapped themselves in so much chaos that have made outside intervention necessary, are here again to teach us great lessons: Consistency, Trust and Unconditional Love. These are  the elements that were missing at some point during their early development. And these are often the elements that we as a whole continue to miss still.

About a month ago, I had a very enlightening evening with my partner and a friend in which I experienced new levels of consciousness that are challenging to put into words. I aligned my will with divine will and fully allowed myself to be a servant to all, whoever shall need me, in whatever way I can best serve for the highest good of the whole. I find that the law of attraction has new meaning for me. For when incidents arise that a particular person iks me, I can very quickly take the lesson and be grateful for the gentle (or sometimes not so gentle) reminder that I may still need to do some inner work around a particular subject or event. I’ve also noticed that events or people that come into play are not necessarily attracted by a similar frequency in me, but a frequency within a group of people and I am here to help stabilize and return the group to harmony. No one is ever perfect and with all the lies and misinformation we have all learned growing up, it’s amazing that we still have that spark inside us that still searches for something bigger.

So what happens when you run into a situation or a person that represents an unhealed frequency of the whole? You respond as a whole. It brings you together to talk about and release your experiences in order to put the focus and healing where it needs to go. You fulfill and honor the lesson. Unless as a group your make that conscious decision to transcend that level of consciousness together, a few pieces will and then another few pieces will and then some will fall away. This is what we are dealing with on a universal scale. Our world. Our universe. We have all been (although to many unknowingly) creating our own little universes that this Earth has furnished the makings for. Sure, those who know the rules have played the game better than some, but no matter what we have greater ability in numbers. If we align our intentions together, a new world shall be born.

Aside from the declaration of alignment I acted upon last month, I also made a bond and agreement with several friends to act entirely as a community or very large family. We pretty much already did this, but it was never officially declared and for the most part work and money was always a private aspect. Now, we eat as a family whenever it best suits the family, money is earned for the family, every trade and skill is a gift to be leaned, shared and appreciated by all. Since this happened, I have been able to turn off the heat in my house for a tree guy now brings us old dead wood to feed our fire endlessly, a sweatlodge for community use and led by an Lakota-Souix elder with no where else to sweat (and had been looking for a lodge space for almost a year) has been built in my back yard and I am now learning to pour and lead a sweat ceremony, a surprising amount of prospective family members have emerged with amazing talents and gifts. Abundance is endless.

After years of my own healing, I’ve finally come to really love the law of sttraction. I know because of the frequency in which I hold my home and the vibration I maintain for myself, I can create a higher potential experience for an entire family. I have enough weight to lend a few pounds so to speak. We all do. It’s time for us to realize our full potential and finally understand how this universe really works. After all, the answers have been so plainly in front of us all along. We just forgot to pay attention.

Creation

We are each the creator of our own universe. Once we align ourselves with our higher purpose, we come into resonance with source power. However, in numbers we are granted more source power to work with. We come together to create a new world. As we exercise and strengthen our light bodies, we see the truth. All answers reside inside of ourselves. Welcome to the awakening.

Hello, is that me up there?

What would your highest self do? 

I think it’s important to ask that when we find ourselves judging another person, find ourselves in conflict, or are met with a frustrating obstacle… Or any time you are faced with a choice. 

Our highest self illuminates a situation as is. There is no right or wrong- it just is. Now, once you see the situation for its truth, your highest self will transcend any need to be prideful, any fear, anger or attachment to the situation. You will see the choice to make consciously in order to accept the situation, let go of the desires of your ego and act for the benefit of the whole- not just for yourself.

What may seem righteous or important now seems silly. For we are all one family and every bit of energy in this universe flows through and around each of us. What we do affects the whole. You can choose to love through anything and take the advice of your highest self. 

Each time we ask our highest selves to help us, it moves closer to us until we fully integrate this way of thinking into our subconscious. It soon becomes our default and our ego takes a long overdue snooze. Each time we act from our highest selves, it attracts more closely others who do the same. 

This phase is about going within again. Let go of those patterns which are holding you back. Time is speeding up and cycles are playing out faster and faster. Pick up the pace or get dragged along. It’s entirely your choice. 

Now, ask again, what would your highest self do?

Just Breathe

When clients come to me for a treatment and ask if there’s anything I can give them to work on at home, the number one response I have is “breath work.” I’ll say this and most of the time, the client says it with me… they know. Breath work is SO SO SO important. Think about it. Breath IS life. You take your first breath when you are born, your last when you die and every breath in between is what keeps you alive.

I wanted to be a professional singer growing up and when I started studying energy work, I was shocked to discover that my day would start out pretty much the same way; breath work. I am forever thankful for the years of breathing exercises my voice teachers put me through because it saved my behind in healing school.

When you start to do breath work, a few things usually happen. You get bored, you feel a resistance to breathing, you get dizzy and feel sick to your stomach, or you have an emotional release. All of these things deter people from persevering and breaking down that wall that allows them to fully realize the benefits of breath work.

Breath work can calm mind chatter, reduce blood pressure, calm nerves and anxiety, wake up your chakras and meridians, and so much more. I found that I became more productive throughout the day, slept better, and had a much sharper mind early in the day. I’ve listed a few simple breath exercises below; try a few out for a few days and see if you notice any changes.

Easy breath work techniques: 

1. Alternate nostril breathing:

Take a finger and hold the right side of your nostril closed. Breath in through the left nostril slowly, perhaps on a count to five. Release your finger on your right nostril and breath out. Repeat this about 5-10 times and then switch nostrils and do the series again. This is excellent for balancing left/right brain activity, masculine/feminine energies, clearing mind chatter, reducing anxiety, and obtaining clarity of mind. This ideally should be done at least once a day, but any time you can spare to do it will definitely help.

2. 3rd Chakra Fire Breathing

Lie on your back or sit comfortably with your back straight. Use you diaphragm to quickly take a strong inhalation through your nose and then back out. You will want to make sure your air is fully expelled when you exhale and you will automatically breath in once all air is released. Do this for about 2 or 3 minutes at first and see if you can work your way up to 10. This is excellent for clearing mind chatter, activating your 3rd chakra and revving up personal power.

3. Counted breath

This one is very simple. On a count to 5, breath in slowly. Exhale on a count to 5. Repeat. I would start with a count to 5 and then start challenging yourself to work up to higher numbers. This I find to be the most calming breath exercise. I feel deeply peaceful, calm, and balanced when I do this. Make sure you aren’t breathing shallow. Bring your awareness to the lower lobes of your lungs, the sides of your torso and your heart center. Make sure you are completely filling these areas with air.

4. Liver breathing

The liver holds our anger and can sometimes even hold deep seated grief. If you’re feeling irritable, having pre-menstrual mood swings or discomfort, breast distention, dizziness or maybe even just hung over, try this to stimulate your liver and get some every flowing. Breathe in slowly through your nose until your lungs are full. Try to initiate the breath from the lower abdomen and place your awareness just below your rib cage. Exhale using an open mouthed “haaaaa” and stick your tongue out. This would be the kind of release or exhale you may do to someone after you’ve eaten tons of garlic and want to share your fumes. It’s reminiscent of a dentist’s “say ah,” but more breathy. If you’re having trouble, just think less voice and more breath. The breath is always the most important part.

I have no time to do breath work!

I hear that all the time. Sure you do. When you take a shower, when you sit in traffic, 2 minutes before bed or right before you get out. Once you start to do it, you’ll find time to do it. Everyone starts out somewhere.

Again, breath work is SO important. I can’t stress this enough. The more you do it, the more you realize the potential it has to truly transform you and break down limitations. We exercise our bodies through physical activity, we exercise our minds through learning and communication, breath work is like weight lifting for your spirit.
